ECHO MAKER
The title comes from the author Richard Powers' novel "The Echo Maker." Like Powers I try "to dig into what lies beneath" with my art. I was also influenced by the work of Loren Eisley, anthropologist and philosopher, who wrote “We are all potential fossils still carrying within our bodies the crudities of former existences, the marks of a world in which living creatures flow with little more consistency than clouds from age to age.“
